Along with her daughter, Dr. Nedra Fewtterrman, she co-founded The Mother-Daughter Bond workshops.
She’s appeared on the TODAY SHOW, the WHYY radio talk show, and has done many presentations at the prestigious Family Therapy Networker Symposiums, Smart Marriages national conferences as well as for the International Imago Relationship Therapy Institute programs in the United State, Denmark, Bermuda, and Canada

In her post graduate training, Sunny has studied at the Family Institute of Philadelphia in 1977, trained at the Philadelphia Child Guidance Clinic in 1983 under Salvador Minuchin and Jay Haley, has been supervised and trained In Ericksonian Psychotherapy with Stevev Gilligan in 1982-1992 and has completed a three year certification program in the mind/body science of Somatic Experience with Peter Levine MD. She's completed courses at Jefferson University's Sexual Dysfunction Training Center in 1981.
In 1989 she began study with Harville Hendrix Ph.D founder of Imago Relationship Therapy. Her Imago q;ualifications include being certified as an Imago Therapist in 1989, as a Workshop Presenter in 1991, as a Clinical Instructor in 1993, and as a Master Trainer in 1995 writing new curriculum and teaching and supervising Imago therapists nationwide for their certifications as well as teaching and certifiying Workshop Presenters.
Sunny graduated Magna Cum Laude from the University of Penssylvania in 1970, earned a Masters in Educational Psychology from Antioch University in 1971, and received a Masters of Social Science from Bryn Mawr College in 1982,
